Cheverly Meadow

Site Leader - Doug Alexander

At the bottom of Josyln Place and 63rd Place is CNPP’s first adopted site. The Cheverly Meadow was started by CNPP board member, Doug Alexander, back in 2017 and was added to CNPP’s sites in the fall of 2021 when we started helping him clear invasive plants from the woods and replace with native species. The meadow is always abuzz with birds and pollinators and is a fantastic example of a mature site. With all the new shrubs and trees CNPP added to the woods, we are establishing a lush forest habitat for local critters, too.
